Product Description
Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin known mainly for its role in blood clotting. The K comes from the German word ‘Koagulation’, meaning coagulation or clotting. Your body needs Vitamin K so that various types of proteins can produce their effects. Among other things, it is important for strong bones.
This vitamin occurs naturally in two forms: vitamin K1 and K2.
Vitamin K1 is mainly found in cabbage and other leafy green vegetables, including kale, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, and alfalfa.
Vitamin K2 is mainly found in fermented products such as yoghurt, cheese, and natto (fermented soybeans), but also in egg yolks, fish, poultry, liver, and sauerkraut. It is also produced in the intestines by your gut bacteria, provided that you have healthy gut flora.
Benfida Vitamin K contains vitamin K2 in the most easily absorbable form: menaquinone-7 (MK-7). This is more stable and more effective than vitamin K1.
The tablets contain high doses of vitamin K2. If necessary, they can easily be cut in half.
They are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
