General terms and conditions
These are our general terms and conditions. This text sets out our legal rights and obligations and the legal rights and obligations of Benfida’s user and customer. Do you have a question about these terms and conditions, your order or delivery? If so, please contact customer service.
The prices of our products are shown in euros including all taxes and VAT, but excluding any postage costs, unless otherwise stated.
The products and prices are valid for as long as they are shown on the website, subject to sufficient stocks and unintended errors in the name, description, price and quantity of the product. Changes in the shape or precise appearance of an item are possible but they do not affect the value or quality of the item.
We cannot be held liable for (typographical) errors in our offers or on our website.
The products remain our property until we have finally received the full purchase price.
Payment for your order is processed securely
Security and storage of electronic payment data are provided by outside companies. They are therefore responsible for any misuse of this data or any problems with your payment.
Normally we will not send out your order until we have received your payment.
Your personal data is protected
In accordance with the law, you are entitled to object to the use of your data for Direct Marketing purposes, you can access all information that we have about you and you are able to rectify any data that is incorrect.
We never disclose any personal data to third parties.
Your data may be disclosed under strict conditions for the purpose of processing your payment and sending your order. For example, we give your address to the post office in order to send your order.
We will send your order as quickly as possible
We can send your order to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We also deliver to a number of other European countries, but this is always subject to acceptance of the order by us. The products are sent to the postal address that you provide when ordering (home address or other address).
Our products are supplied in accordance with the standards set out in Belgian and European legislation. Although we take great care and try to take into account all local legislation in all countries to which we deliver, the purchaser is responsible for complying with local legislation.
By accepting the parcel you agree that the order has arrived safely. If the parcel containing your order appears to be damaged, you must refuse the parcel and have it returned. We can no longer be held liable for the condition of the order once you have accepted the parcel with the order from the delivery company.
If there is a problem with delivery of your order, it is always best to contact our customer service.
The delivery times indicated on the website are provided as an indication only and are not binding terms. We make every effort to respect the stated delivery time. If the goods ordered have not been delivered within 30 days, then the agreement may be viewed as cancelled, unless we have informed you beforehand about a longer delivery time. If you cancel the agreement, we will reimburse any payment that we have received within seven days.
Postage costs: you are asked to contribute towards the cost of postage. These postage costs may be free of charge from a specified minimum order amount. See also the information on the website.
Our products are sold for private use. We cannot be held liable for the use of our products. If you use products for your health, you should speak to a doctor first. The information on this website is not a substitute for talking to a doctor or therapist, nor for their diagnosis or medical treatment. If you have medical symptoms, it is best to ask a doctor or therapist for advice.
Always follow the product instructions. Benfida cannot be held liable under any circumstances for any deficiency in the goods which it supplies if this is cause by incorrect or inappropriate use of our goods by the purchaser. Benfida’s liability for any deficiency in the goods which it supplies and which are purchased by Benfida from suppliers can never be greater than the guarantee that Benfida is able to claim from the said supplier.
Your buyer’s protection (right to cancel the purchase)
The consumer is entitled to inform Benfida that he cancels the purchase, without paying any penalty and without providing a reason, within 14 calendar days of the day after delivery of the goods or after concluding the agreement.
Always contact our customer service before returning goods. This will allow us to process your returns quickly.
If you wish to cancel the sale you can do this within 14 calendar days after delivery of your order. In that case the products must be returned within the same period of time, in their original, undamaged packaging and including all accessories.
Within 14 days after acceptance of the returned items we will reimburse any money that has been paid, except direct costs of delivery (postage costs, which may be waived above a certain amount).
The right to cancel does not apply to food parcels that the consumer has already opened and does not apply to business (B2B) orders. Goods that are incomplete or damaged and goods that have been used or soiled by the consumer will not be accepted as returns.

The sale that is covered by these terms and conditions of sale is governed by Belgian law. You declare that you have read and approved these General Terms and Conditions before you place an order. Placing your order and using this website therefore entails acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.
